Space-saving Push-Button TACT Switch for Mobile and Portable Product Applications
knitter-switch announces the introduction of its TSS 309 push-button tact switch designed for a variety of mobile and portable product applications. This space-saving surface mounted switch measures 3.8 x 6.0mm with a height off the board of just 1.7mm. For secure mounting and good electrical contact, knitter-switch has incorporated a single J-lead terminal to ensure maximum solder on the joint and easy visual inspection. Where required, versions can be provided with flat solder terminals.
Two actuator forces are available, 180 and 360gm and operational lifetime is better than 100,000 operations. The TSS 309 may be soldered at 260°C, is RoHS compliant and features contact ratings of 12VDC or 23VDC @ 50mA, a maximum contact resistance of 100mΩ and an operating temperature range of -20 to +70ºC.

The new knitter-switch TSS 309 is available from stock in 2,500-piece tape and reel packaging direct from knitter-switch or a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery. Typical applications include, automotive controls, personal electronic equipment, games consoles, instrumentation, remote controls and hand held devices.

Innovativer, kompakter SMD Taktschalter
knitter-switch präsentiert seine neuen TSS 309 Taktschalter. Diese Taster wurden speziell für tragbare elektronische Geräte entwickelt. Durch seine geringe Gehäusegröße von nur 3,8 x 6,0mm und mit einer Bauhöhe von nur 1,7mm ist er ein besonders Platz sparendes Bauteil. Er wird mittels zweier “J-hook“-Anschlüsse auf der Platine befestigt. Eine gute Verbindung zur Platine ist somit gewährleistet. Eine Ausführung mit abgeflachten Anschlüssen steht außerdem zur Wahl.
Der Kunde kann zwischen zwei Betätigungskräften (1,8N und 3,6N) wählen, der Schalter hält mehr als 100 000 Betätigungen stand. Zusätzlich eignet sich der TSS 309 für einen bleifreien Lötprozess (260°C max.), er ist RoHS konform und hat eine Belastbarkeit von 12VDC @ 50mA. Der Kontaktwiderstand liegt bei 100mΩ (max.) und der Betriebstemperaturbereich zwischen -20 und +70ºC.

Der neue TSS 309 von knitter-switch ist ab Lager erhältlich (2500 Stück / Rolle). Muster werden im Allgemeinen innerhalb von 24 Stunden verschickt. Ein Datenblatt ist auf Anfrage erhältlich. Typische Applikationen beinhalten Steuereinheiten im Bereich Automotive, Spielekonsolen, Fernbedienungen und sonstige tragbare Unterhaltungselektronik.

Bouton poussoir « TACT switch » à encombrement réduit pour applications mobiles et téléphones portables
knitter-switch annonce l’introduction d’un nouveau commutateur bouton poussoir « tact switch » TSS 309 conçu pour une grande variété d’application mobiles et téléphones portables. Ce commutateur CMS à encombrement réduit mesure 3.8 x 6.0mm avec une épaisseur hors déclencheur de seulement 1.7mm. Pour garantir le montage et un bon contact électrique, knitter-switch propose une version CMS avec contact « J » (relevé) afin d’assurer une soudure maximum et un contrôle visuel facile. Si besoin, ce commutateur peut-être proposé en version CMS standard.
2 forces d’appui sont disponibles (1.8N et 3.6N) et la durée de vie est supérieure à 100 000 opérations. Le TSS 309 peut-être soudé à 260°C, est conforme RoHS, a un pouvoir de coupure de 12 VDC @ 50mA, une résistance de contact de 100mΩ et une gamme de température en opération de -20 à +70°C.
