Surface Mount Tact Switch Series Combines Small Size With Extra Long Travel

knitter-switch announces a new tact switch series that will find wide application in industry, in medical systems, consumer electronics and the automotive sector.

Switches in the TSS 650 series are small, surface mount tact switches that provide an extra long travel of 1.3mm, compared to the industry “norm” of just 0.25mm. Because the switch incorporates a silicone dome, there is no audible click during operation but there is nevertheless excellent tactile feedback for the user. This can be very useful in broadcast and medical environments.

The new switch has a body which measures just 6 x 6mm with a height off the board of 5mm. Designed to be lead-free reflow solderable at up to 260ºC, the use of J hooks saves further board space. Operating temperature range is very wide, at –40 to +85ºC.

The switches have a long mechanical life with a minimum of 30000 cycles, contact ratings of 12VDC, 50mA and a low contact resistance of 100mΩ.

According to knitter-switch, applications of the new tact switches include industrial front panels, home entertainment products, medical systems and automotive electronics.

Knitter-switch TSS 650 tact switches are available from stock and from a number of distributors throughout Europe. Samples are usually available on next day delivery.

Neue Taktschalter für  Leiterplatten: kleines Format mit langem Schaltweg

Knitter-switch stellt ihre neue Taktschalterserie vor, die von der Industrie über die Medizintechnik und die Unterhaltungselektronik bis zum  Automotive neue Einsatzbereiche finden wird.   

Die kleinen Taktschalter zur  Befestigung auf der Leiterplatte bieten erstmals einen  besonders langen Schaltweg von 1,3 mm - die Norm liegt hier bei nur  0,25mm. Dabei sorgt eine Silikonkuppel für geräuschlose Betätigung mit angenehmem Schaltgefühl. Damit bietet sich auch der Einsatz im Bereich  Tontechnik und Medizintechnik an.    

Der neue Schalter mißt 6 x 6 mm, die Höhe beträgt 5 mm. Er ist bleifrei lötbar bis 260°C. Durch die Verwendung von „J-Hooks“ wird eine weitere Platzeinsparung auf der Leiterplatte erreicht. Der Betriebstemperaturbereich bietet mit  -40°C bis +85°C breite Möglichkeiten.       

Die neuen Schalter versprechen eine lange  technische Lebensdauer mit mindestens 30000 Betätigungen, einer Belastbarkeit von 12VDC, 50mA und dem Übergangswiderstand von 100mΩ.

Der Knitter-Switch Taktschalter TSS 650 ist lieferbar ab Lager und kann europaweit über verschiedene Distributoren bezogen werden. Die Lieferzeit für Musterlieferungen beträgt in der Regel  einen Werktag.

Série touche tactile CMS
Combinaison d’une petite taille avec une course extra-longue

knitter-switch annonce l’introduction d’une nouvelle série de touches tactiles qui trouveront de larges applications dans l’industrie, le médical, l’électronique grand public et le secteur automobile.

Les touches tactiles de la série TSS 650 sont petites, en version CMS et offrent une course extra longue de 1.3mm, en comparaison avec la norme industrielle qui est de 0.25mm. Comme les touches intègrent un dôme en silicone, il n’y a aucun bruit pendant l’opération mais il y a malgré tout une excellente sensation tactile pour l’utilisateur. Cela peut-être très apprécié dans les environnements de communication  et le médical.

Cette nouvelle touche tactile a un corps de 6x6mm avec une hauteur totale de seulement 5mm. Développé pour être compatible au processus de soudure sans-plomb jusqu’à 260°C, l’utilisation des pattes de connexions type « J-hooks » permet d’économiser de l’espace sur le PCB. La gamme de température en opération est large de -40° à +85°C

Les touches ont une durée de vie minimum de 30 000 cycles, un pouvoir de coupure de 12VDC, 50mA et une résistance de contact de 100mΩ.

Les touches tactiles TSS 650 sont disponibles sur stock et au travers de nos nombreux distributeurs en Europe. Des échantillons sont disponibles dans des délais courts.
