IP67 Tact Switches from knitter-switch save space in Industrial Medical and Automotive Applications

knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, announces the introduction of a new series of sealed tact switches designed for a variety of industrial input, automotive and medical systems applications where protection to IP67 is required.

The waterproof TSE 8 and TSSE 8 switches offer space savings, when compared to earlier models and competitors products, yet offer a switch rating of 1W (max 100mA or 42V AC/DC). With gold plated contacts, the new tact switches feature a minimum current of 10mA at 20mV. These RoHS compliant switches are lead-free solderable to 260°C.

The new TSE 8 and TSSE 8 series provide the user with an excellent tactile feedback, offer a long operational life of at least one million cycles and are available in both through hole and surface mount formats. Two through-hole designs are available, one that saves board space and one that allows for improved solder joint inspection.

Neuer IP67 Taktschalter von knitter-switch spart Platz in Medizintechnik oder Industrieautomation

knitter-switch, einer der führenden Schalterhersteller in Europa, bringt eine neue Serie von wasserdichten Taktschaltern auf den Markt, die überall da zum Einsatz kommen können wo der IP67 Standard gefordert wird und das Platzangebot beschränkt ist. Dies gilt für  die  Medizintechnik, den Automobilebereich oder auch in der Industrieautomation.

Die wasserdichten TSE 8 und TSSE 8 Schalter bringen, verglichen mit früheren Modellen oder Wettbewerbsangeboten, eine Platzersparnis. Dabei bieten sie dennoch eine Schaltleistung von 1W (max 100mA oder 42V AC/DC). Die vergoldeten Kontakte, schalten zuverlässig ab 10mA bei 20mV.Der RoHS kompatible Schalter kann bleifrei bei bis zu 260°C gelötet werden.

Die neue TSE 8 und  TSSE 8 Serie bietet dem Nutzer eine hervorragende taktile Rückmeldung, bringt eine lange Lebensdauer von bis zu 1 Mio Schaltungen mit  und ist für die Befestigung auf Leiterplatte mit Stiftkontakten oder SMD erhältlich. Für die Leiterplatten sind zwei Varianten erhältlich, eine besonders platzsparende und eine, die die Inspektion der Lötstellen erleichtert.

Les Tact switch IP 67 de knitter-switch permettent d'économiser de l'espace pour les applications dans le domaine de l'industrie médicale et automotive

knitter-switch, un des premiers fabricants de commutateurs en Europe, présente une nouvelle série de tact switch étanches, indispensable pour une large gamme d’application dans le secteur automobile, industriel et le médical où une protection IP67 est exigée.

Avec les séries étanches TSE 8 et TSSE 8, knitter-switch propose une alternative aux produits de la concurrence (avec un rating de 1W – max 100mA ou 42V AC/DC) permettant  de gagner de l’espace dans les applications. Les caractéristiques de ces commutateurs sont les contacts dorés avec un pouvoir de coupure de 10mA sous une tension de 20mV. Ces touches RoHS sont compatibles au processus de soudure sans plomb jusqu’à 260°C.

Ces nouvelles séries de TSE 8 et TSSE 8 offrent à l’utilisateur une excellente sensation tactile, avec une durée de vie opérationnelle d’au moins un million de cycles et sont proposées en version CMS et traditionnelle.
Deux design en version traditionnelle sont disponible, l’un qui permet d’économiser de l’espace sur le PCB, l’autre qui permets une meilleure inspection de la soudure.
