Sealed Micro-Switch From knitter-switch Available With Choice of Levers and Terminals

knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, announces a new series of micro-switches designed for use across a wide variety of professional and consumer applications.

The DM-SME series are versatile micro-switches that can be sealed to IP67 when hard wired (AWG 18 wire) or to IP50 when connected via terminals.

The new DM-SME series micro-switches has switching contacts rated to 3A@250VAC/30VDC, a long mechanical life of up to 5 million cycles and offers designers a number of actuation options including a choice of levers – straight, roller, simulated roller or a no lever option for close proximity switching.

These micro-switches are available with a choice of switching functions including SPDT, NO and NC as well as a choice of connection terminals including tab, solder, PCB straight and PCB right angle and left angle.

According to knitter-switch, the DM-SME series is ideally suited for use in communications equipment, professional or consumer appliances, office equipment, control and alarm panels and mobility aids including stair lifts.
