New SMT Pushbutton Switch from knitter-switch is “normally closed”

One of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, knitter-switch, announces the introduction of a low profile, surface-mount pushbutton switch designed for use in any situation where the need to interrupt current flow is required to activate a function. 

knitter-switch says a typical application for this device would be as a reset switch on IT equipment, communications systems or instrumentation.

The TSS 6325 N pushbutton switch has  normally closed contacts, an overall height of just 2.5mm and an operating temperature range of -20ºC to +70ºC.

The pushbutton switches are tactile devices in operation and have a working life of at least 100,000 cycles.
