Standard tactile switch from knitter-switch now also available with ground contact


knitter-switch, one of Europe’s leading switch manufacturers, announces a ground contact option for standard tactile switches designed for a wide range of professional and consumer applications including audio equipment, white goods and measuring instruments.

 The new TSG/TSSG 61 pushbutton switch is a panel mount switch designed for through-hole or surface mount applications and users can select from a choice of stem length - 4.3, 5, 7, 7.3, 9.5, 11.3 or 13mm and actuation force - 70,100,160,260,320 or 520gf to more precisely meet their requirements.

 The TSG/TSSG 61 pushbutton switch is a tactile, momentary device and, for applications where ESD protection is an issue, the switch comes with an additional ground pin.
